The SONAMET yard is operated according to Acergy Quality Assurance Manual. Acergy QA System is certified ISO 9001 by DNV.




The SONAMET yard is subject to a yearly audit performed by the Acergy Management. In addition, external audits are carried out by clients, CABGOC, TOTAL, ExxonMobil, BP, FMC. Technip, Saipem, Cameron, Kvaerner, DSME etc.




SONAMET maintains on site QA/QC personnel who implement a responsive Quality Control programme for the following activities:

- Radiographic Testing
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Magnetic Particle Testing
- Dye Penetration Testing
- Pre-heating and Stress Relieving
- Paint Testing
- Dimensional Control
- Material Traceability

 
Field tests for Weld Control and Inspection (X-Ray, UT, etc.) are subcontracted to recognised Quality Control companies qualified by SONAMET.
